Animaterra Mission Statement
Animaterra is a women's chorus. We are a non-profit organization, formed by women to communicate through multi-cultural folk music. We welcome all women in a community of song, reaching out to all people locally, regionally and globally.
We offer an environment of learning and shared musical artistry in which women, whether beginners or experienced, can express themselves through music.

New CD: Peace on Earth/Pax in Terra ... Available Now!

Animaterra, a Keene-based women’s chorus with up to 50 members, has just released a new CD titled Pax in Terra/Peace on Earth. The work is a compilation of winter songs with themes of peace and holiday warmth. Recorded at many previous concerts, it reflects the group’s eight and a half years of bringing folk music from all over the world to the Keene area. The work offers 28 selections plus a “special bonus track,” according to Director Allison Aldrich. Guest performers, including Allouette Iselin and Carol Compton, are also featured. The CD’s are available at various retail outlets in the Keene area.
